Saba Power and Energy Group
Saba Power and Energy Group was established in 2004 as the first private company and for investment in the Iranian electricity industry with the purchasing of Shahid Modhaj (Zargan) Power Plant in Ahwaz.
Saba Group is one of the largest private companies present in the Iranian electricity industry consisting of a number of companies involved in purchase, construction, and operation of power plants. To this end, it holds possession of 5 important power plants with an overall capacity of 3500 MW and operation and maintanence of 7 thermal power plants with a total capacity of 5100 MW.
Fields of activity
Currently, after 14 years since the establishment of the Saba Group, the total capacity of the company's power plants is 4,100 megawatts. In other words, the group has been able to significantly increase its capacity with ongoing development and shareholder support programs. The Saba Group is currently developing and constructing nearly 5,000 megawatts of power plants.

The operation and repair of Saba Power Plant, based on increasing the ability to provide modern and efficient services, as well as enjoying the experience, technology and national and international standards, seeks to develop the domestic and transnational markets. The company is proud to make high-performance repairs with maximum readiness for covered plants.
Operation and Repair
The marketing and sales committee of Saba Group is responsible for the sales of electricity produced by its owned power plants, and in this regard, by creating an optimal basket in various fields of marketing and sales such as Iran's wholesale electricity market, energy exchange, bilateral contracts and Guaranteed Energy Conversion Contracts sells electricity produced by its own power plants.
