Saba Southeast Power Generation Company was established in 2012 initially under the name “Zargan Saba Power Generation Company” in alignment with Article 44 of the Constitution and the upstream plans of the Mostazafan Foundation to ensure an effective presence in the electricity generation industry, and was subsequently renamed to Saba Southeast Power Generation Company. The company commenced its activities in 2013 by acquiring the “Chabahar Combined Cycle Power Plant” through an official valuation auction from the Iranian Privatization Organization, and currently operates as a commercial subsidiary of Saba Power and Energy Company (Private Joint Stock) affiliated with the Mostazafan Foundation.
