Hamid Reza Azimi, in a conversation with Radio Economics, congratulated Eimollah Daha Fajr, adding: “Currently, the capacity of the power plant in Iran is more than 78,000 megawatts, which, while generating employment for young people, has been able to provide reliable electricity to the country.”

He added: “Fortunately, since the beginning of this year, more than 1,800 megawatts of thermal power have been added to the nation’s overall electricity capacity.

Vice President of Planning for a Thermal Power Generation Mother Specialist, referring to the peak consumption of more than 55,000 MW of electricity this year in Iran, said: “Thanks to God and the efforts of all those involved, the country was able to successfully pass through this crescent.

He also told Radio Economics about the achievements of the power industry during the post-revolutionary period: the capacity of the power plants in Iran until 1977 was 7,242 megawatts, which now reached 78,343 megawatts.
