Project description
Zargan Power Plant is located in Ahwaz with a capacity of 418 MW in an area of 27 hectares. This power plant consists of two gas units made by GEC, each with a nominal capacity of 145 MW, and four gas units made by the Belgian ACEC Company, each with a nominal capacity of 32 MW. Zargan Power Plant is located in the load center of the 230 KV network of Khouzestan province, Iran, and plays a crucial role in network stability and voltage control in the zone, particularly Ahwaz.
