Saba Southwest Energy Production Company

Saba Southwest Power Generation Company was founded in 2012, and has become an important private company in production of electricity and power plant operation in the region by optimal operation of the power plants it owns and development of new power plants in southwest Iran.

One of the power plants operating under this company is Shahid Modhaj (Zargan in Ahwaz, with a capacity of 418 MW), which was the first project given to the private sector, and launched the privatization of power plants in Iran. In addition, Khorramshar combined cycle power plant in Arvandroud was constructed by this company, which operates with 6 gas units and a total capacity of 972 MW.  Saba Southwest Power Generation Company is the largest non-governmental electricity producer in southwest Iran.
