Project description
Aliabad Combined Cycle Power Plant is located in Aliabad in Golestan province, Iran, with the capacity of 972 MW consisting of six V94.2 gas units with the nominal capacity of 162 MW and three steam units each with the nominal capacity of 160 MW defined in two phases. The first phase of this power plant consisting of six gas units started its operation in 2010. The second phase of this project is currently being performed.
