Project Description
With a nominal capacity of 1,030 MW, this power plant is located on a 96-hectare site at the 15th kilometer of the Khorramabad-Andimeshk southern bypass road. The first block includes two V94.2(5) gas units and one steam unit with a total capacity of 484 MW, while the second block consists of two MAP2B gas units and one steam unit with a total capacity of 546 MW. Currently, 850 MW of the plant’s nominal capacity is in operation, and the steam unit of the second block is under construction. Furthermore, in 2024, a MEDIA power augmentation system with a total capacity increase of approximately 25 MW was installed on two gas units of the first block, which is utilized during the summer peak load.
