Project Description
This power plant is located on a 20-hectare site in Kermanshah County. The first phase, consisting of four V94.2(5) gas units each with a nominal capacity of 162 MW—totaling 648 MW—was commissioned in 2010. In the second phase, two steam units are currently under construction to convert the gas units into a combined cycle system.
