Project Description
The Shahid Modhej (Zergan Ahvaz) Power Plant, with a capacity of 418 MW, is located on an area of approximately 27 hectares. This power plant consists of two steam units manufactured by GEC, each with a nominal capacity of 145 MW, and four gas units manufactured by Belgium’s ACEC, each with a nominal capacity of 32 MW. Situated at the load center of Khuzestan province’s 230 kV power grid, the Zargan Ahvaz Power Plant plays a vital and decisive role in maintaining grid stability and voltage control in the region, particularly for the city of Ahvaz.
